The Old Fire Station Nursery is a small nursery situated in the heart of Englefield. The nursery operates from a single story converted Fire Station in the beautiful rural area of West Berkshire.

As well as our wonderful spacious garden, we also have our very own mini bus allows the children to visit various places of interest and learning intentions including local libraries, farms, parks, rivers, woodland areas and other fun environments where children are encouraged in thrive in extended learning provision environment.

Outdoor learning is embedded in our nursery ethos here at The Old Fire Station Nursery and we believe, our children having the opportunity to play outside during all seasons of the year is an important part of their early years journey! Each week the children explore offsite in the village, den building in the woods, bug hunting across the fields, pond dipping at the Market Garden or visiting the Church and local shop.
